White roses

There was a discussion yesterday in which the symbolic meaning of flowers was an issue.  I checked a couple of online sources, and am posting the results of my search below.  This has particular meaning for those of you who've read (or who will read) Silvio's post ("Follow up to a perfect night").

White roses stand for:
  • Purity, Humility, "I am worthy of you"
  • Youth and innocence, "I miss you"
  • Eternal love, innocence, heavenly, secrecy and silence
So, to Jen and Tavi, do you see why the roses are white this time, not red?

Which one were you thinking of, exactly? ;-) Wait, let me guess - youth and innocence?

Tavi so kindly looked up that yellow roses can mean 'dying love'. :-S

I apologise if this is a bit cheeky, but...
I've had a look at your user info. You might be interested in my new icon community fluidic_icons. Go along and have a peek. If you like what you see you could join or watch it. I would love to have some more people to share my icons with as I have such fun making them. Hope to see you there :)
