Twirling madly!

Okay, so I've been saying for years now that one day I was going to get a computer at home, and everyone who knows me would just nod sagely with an expression on their face best translated as "Yeah, right".  But I'm here this morning to say I finally did it.  *twirls*  I'm now the proud owner of a brand-new 4.1 lb Sony Vaio laptop with several bells and whistles, not least of which is embedded wireless and a WAN connection, which means that I have internet access anywhere I can get a cell phone signal.  Like on the commuter bus in the middle of the freeway going to work, which is where this is being typed.  *more twirling*

So, Jen, you'll definitely have internet access while you're visiting, and we won't even have to walk across the street to Starbucks or Barnes & Noble to go online.  And Tavi?  Suddenly that 8-hour time difference between Scotland and L.A. becomes almost irrelevant, at least in terms of writing Kat-Dominique.  *\o/*

More later.
