A quick question for my francophone friends

How would you refer to a female French president?  "Mme le President" or "Mme la Presidente" (or some other way altogether)?  I've just been speculating on a scenario which has Villepin and Sarkozy fighting to a draw over the next 18 months, the French Right getting disgusted with both of them and letting someone like Le Pen slip in as the main candidate, which in turn leads to horrified French voters turning en masse to the Socialist candidate Ségolène Royal, who wins the presidency.  Thus my question.

Or maybe Chirac will just decide to run for a third term....

*loves languages like English where this question never arises*

Hi!

Am ... almost ... done ... with my commentary on "Next Morning", which is possibly going to rival the treatise in length. I have a couple of hours until the rest of the department comes in to work, and will do my best to get the thing finished, typed, and posted by then. Once everyone else is in we're going to be trooping down to another floor and working on a project there, which means I'll be offline. And I'm at the Getty tomorrow, so no computer access then. :-(

Yeah. The bank examiners officially start their CRA Exam of the bank tomorrow. My materials have already been given to them, but everyone is coming in today to help get another piece ready. The rest of the department (there are only five of us) may also be working tomorrow, but if so, it's without me.
