Just to let you know

I may be very bad about posting and replying to comments for the next few weeks.  January and February are killer months for me at work, as I have regulatory deadlines to meet.  This year, on top of the normal pressure, we have the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency) -- our regulatory agency -- arriving in two weeks to do a CRA examination (something that's done for this bank every three years).  Unlike a Safety and Soundness exam, the CRA exam focuses entirely on the bank's performance under the Community Reinvestment Act.  The examiners will interface exclusively with the bank's Community Reinvestment Department (my department), and while we expect a good exam, there can always be surprises.  Just having half a dozen bank examiners down the hall in the conference room, needing us to be available to talk to them whenever they have a question, tends to raise the stress level a few notches.

So, *sigh* people who are waiting for things from me need to be patient.  (Yes, Jenni, that includes a reply to the affirmative action piece.)  Same thing holds true for the WA world, although that all depends on the latest RL news and what needs to be said about it.  Also pertaining to WA, if there's any "la prochaine fois" discussion, the people involved should know I'm hoping they'll continue to share à la "Noël".  Sorry, don't mean to be cryptic, but almost no one on my flist is interested in this, and the ones who are interested understand the reference.
