Ching Ching!

Here's the answer to your question, desert_rifka.  AT & T charges $3.36 per minute for direct-dialed international calls to France.  It's the standard rate; apparently there's no such thing as weekend or night rates on international calls.  (The call on the bill I received yesterday was placed on a Sunday morning.)  Then there's also a connectivity charge (calculated at 11.1% of the total interstate and international calling charges).

Can anyone tell me why this emoticon is smiling? There's a certain disconnect here ....

Wow! I've got to look into this. The particular call that was on yesterday's bill was 123 minutes; you do the math and you'll understand my reaction, lol.

You'd love Cognidial. Never had a problem in 3+ years. You get your bill online. I pay about 10 cents/minute to Australia and they bill my credit card. You establish a max limit up front for security. Only thing you need to get is the contact numbers for customer's service written down because sometimes there are glitches with the computer and they say you're account's overdrawn when it isn't. Anway... if you ever have any qs about it, let me know. I'm the international dialing queen!!!
