Now this is interesting ...

So it's 9:09 p.m. and I'm sitting in my hotel room in Boston (the Nine Zero in the Financial District) using the television and a wireless keyboard to access LJ. Don't think this is an option I'd consider at home; I seem to be quite limited in what I can do on LJ (no option of using Rich Text for this entry, for example; and I haven't found out how to access other people's LJs except through my Friends page). Supposedly the hotel has a business center with computers that are available 24 hours a day; will check that out tomorrow. I have another set of icons made by crazybutsound that I want to load, and I also want to check out some interestng things at book_icons. If you don't know that icon community, you should go check it out.

Now, Mouse, no spoilers here, but tonight's episode of Lost was sort of so-so. Next week's show, on the other hand, which is the first hour of the two-part, three-hour season finale, looks very good indeed.

I'd have brought some CDs with me if I'd known that I'd find a little JVC stereo in my room. But there's another option on the TV menu which lets you access a CD library and get 120 minute of music for a cost of $7.95. Maybe I'll take a look at that after I watch Law & Order. Or, no, that had better wait until tomorrow; sleep trumps music tonight.

Hi it's me Celia. I'm sitting here waiting for Lost to come on, and you got to see it already! Boo hoo. Glad you arrived safely.

Nyah, nyahnyah, nyahnyah-nyah!

Nothing personal; my inner child is just feeling cranky due to lack of sleep.

It's now 12:21 a.m., and I'm still on LJ .... This doesn't bode well for what things will be like when I finally get a laptop, does it? I think what we talked about at lunch the other day (forget about getting internet access at home; just get a laptop with wireless capability and do all my online stuff across the street at Starbucks) might really be the way to go. Then when I went home I'd sleep instead of being tempted to stay up all night talking to people!

Hey, Jem? If I do this you'll have to amend those "Not suitable to be viewed at the office" cut warnings to be a little more inclusive. I'm sure there are Starbucks whre this wouldnit be an issue (I'm thinking of one in West Hollywood -- "Boys Town" -- for example), but my local Starbucks would certainly look askance at anything with more than an "R" rating, lol!

Thanks for warning me then, I'd better not set up my expectations too high - besides I'm not keen on Kate, so yeah.

Also, thanks for the link, that comm seems really interesting *g*
