Terrible, terrible high-rise apartment block fire in London at the worst possible time -- after midnight, when you know a majority of residents would have been asleep in their beds. I'm still shocked at how quickly the fire spread and engulfed the entire building. The death toll is at 12 right now, but is expected to rise. (Based on the video footage I saw, only 12 deaths would count as a miracle.)
I'm trying not to speculate on a cause (like the fires we have in southern California every year, you want it to be some benign cause and not something like arson).
