If the exit poll Politico is reporting turns out to be accurate, Theresa May hasn't just shot herself in the foot, she's amputated it. And I wonder if David Cameron is happily planning to hand over to Theresa the trophy given to him for the "Stupidest, Most Unnecessary Political Act That Didn't Turn Out the Way It Was Supposed To" -- the EU Referendum in his case, in Theresa's, the snap election to increase her mandate and strengthen her Brexit negotiating power.
