Anyone else experiencing this?

My options for logging in to LJ (apart from going to the library and using a public computer) are the following:

(1) Use my work PC(mandatory browser is Internet Explorer, and it's not the latest version)
(2) Use my iPad (browser is Safari)
(3) Use my old Sony Vaio laptop (browser is Chrome)

So. For at least the last month, it's been impossible to load LJ at work. It tries and tries and tries, but doesn't load apart from one or two times, and even then it didn't display properly. The fallback during working hours since this started has been the iPad, but this week I haven't been able to load LJ there, either, at least not while I'm connecting through the work hotspot (my iPad is WiFi only). I'm going to walk across the street to Starbucks in a little while, iPad in hand, and I'll see if I can access LJ there. For the moment, then, it seems work has become a no-LJ zone for some mysterious reason, and I have to rely on my trusty (8 years old!) Vaio. Since I mostly use LJ these days as a place for writing with a partner several time zones away, it makes things a little awkward.

Anyway, I've not seen anyone on my flist mentioning similar difficulties, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I connect via safari on the iPhone at work, seems to work fine (via wifi). LJ's being temperamental these days though!

Well, LJ loaded on the iPad without any trouble at Corner Bakery and at Starbucks and at home. And it loaded fine today at work. Even better, it loaded on the PC at work, which is what I'm using right now to write this reply. I'm trying not to get too excited, though, as this happened once before, and I'd no sooner shared the good news with Tavi than the next day we were back to "no, sorry, I'm not going to load".
