LibraryThing update

1,223 books entered to date. 271 books subsequently departed for new homes (primarily a local library's "used books" sale table). No end in sight, and no real dent made in the piles on the floor. *sigh*

Decisions, decisions. Do I donate the well-worn mass market paperback copy of Rosemary's Baby which cost $0.75 when I bought it 35+ years ago and replace it with the e-book version which costs $7.95....

I bought my Kindle last year, but so far only have two books on it.

Or do you see if its copyright is expired and if someone has uploaded it to www.gutenberg.org?

Writing from the Geneva airport. Keep an eye on the post (we'll see if the Swiss really are more efficient than the French!)...

No, hadn't thought about trying that. But I just looked up the rule about copyright expiration -- it's 70 years after the death of the author. That's going to limit what's out there.

Hope you'll do a post about your month in Besançon when you get back home and settled again. How long until you have to start preparing for the new school year?

And thanks for the heads up about the post! Will let you know when the whatever it is arrives. :-)
