London and Edinburgh this trip, primarily for tennis (Malin, if you're reading, really good seats for the ATP World Tour semi-finals (Saturday) and finals (Sunday)); apart from Malin and Tavi, who's going to be there with me, I don't know who on my flist is a tennis fan, so let's just say I'm mildly excited. ;-)

Just a couple of hours sleep on the plane coming over, so I'm going to make an early night of it tonight.

crazybutsound, the London Eye is on my "to do" list. :-)

Have fun, sweetie! Take lots of pictures and then post them, so I can live vicariously through you!

Ooh, have fun! I had such a wonderful time at the YEC two years ago -- it's still one of my favourite memories from my year abroad.

Meanwhile, I'll be keeping a close eye on the proceedings on this side of the Atlantic. :)

When I visited Tavi in Oxford last year we went to three of the round robin matches (over two days). Saw Roger, Rafa, and Djokovic. We'll be at the players tunnel end (Section 107) this year (same place we sat for Rafa's match last year), just two or three rows from the front. (And that was possible only because I bought the tickets in July.)

Btw, I thoroughly enjoyed the Museum of the American Indian. And then I skipped my planned train back to Baltimore in favour of a later one because I discovered that Appalachian Spring has a store at Union Station. :-)
