It's taken three years of searching, but I've finally found the perfect charm to commemorate my 2008 trip to Scotland. The original idea of a golf club with a tiny diamond ball (I looked at it, it was beautiful, and it would have been a nod to Scotland as the home of golf) had to be reluctantly shelved when gold prices headed for the stratosphere (in case you haven't had reason to check, they're about to pass the moon and show no signs of stopping). The charm I've just found is vintage, gold and enamel, and will be perfect on my bracelet. *beams* Now I just have to get back to the travel diary....

Lovely, though the other one sounds just precious!

Oh, it is. You can find it on the Tiffany website if you're curious.

If I could have found a good thistle, I'd have gotten that, but no such luck. I'm delighted with this, though, and now just have to wait for it to arrive. :-)
