Can you say "Public Relations Nightmare"?

Ever felt powerless when an airline lost your luggage or kept you sitting on the tarmac for hours in a plane with no food? Well, Dave Carroll has managed to do what we never could (hopefully make an airline squirm). For those of you who don't know about Carroll, his $3,500 Taylor guitar, and United Airlines, the story can be found here.

First, though, enjoy song no. 1:

It's a catchy tune and everything, but come on. What moron doesn't know luggage gets thrown around during transport. I'd also bet a lot of money on there being some small print on his ticket that says so, but then if he expects an airline to cough up $1200 without having even seen the alleged damage then yeah, he probably didn't read his ticket.

Real musicians travel with their instruments - and if they're too big to go in the overhead lockers, you have to buy an extra seat. If you're too cheap to do that, don't whine afterwards.
