Question

So, just a quick question for my flist, which may or may not have anything to do with the season and that white-bearded gent who lives at the North Pole 364 days of the year....

What are your favourite colours? Not car colours, or paint colours, but the colours you like to wear; the colours that make you happy when see them in a shop window. If watermelon red, lemon yellow, chocolate brown, pewter grey, pastel pink, purple, orange, green, blue (peacock, navy, sky ...), black, white, etc. etc. do it for you, now's the time to admit it.

And you don't have to pick just one. :-)

Lumps of coal in the stockings of people who don't comment. ;-)

Christmas! *squee*

I wear mostly:
- black
- fuschia (still and always)
- white (it's new, but I love wearing it... yes, even after Labor Day lol - who came up with that anyway?)
- dark red
- blue (a blue jean kinda color, not powder blue)

Hi! Gold star to you for being the first to comment. And I did remember the fuschia. :-)

Colour I like to wear? Black. So original and colourful, I know :-) I also like dark blue and I've started to enjoy dark red as well, beige too sometimes...

I can't say I'm a big fan of bright colours, as you can see lol

That's a question I'll only answer a) under torture or b) in exchange for equally important nuggets of information - what would you want for Xmas?

Hmmm. Let me think about that and get back to you.

I still haven't been over to read you IJ. How goes the hunt for that certain someone?

When I'm stressed, nervous or want to feel sophisticated, I go for black. I think I look really good in black, so it's the color I reach for in those situations. LOL, so at work I tend to wear a lot of black.

Otherwise I love blues, particularly those muted with shades of gray, like this, this, or this.

And I love muted but bold reds, like this.

I adore yellow as well, but it's really hard to find clothing in a good shade of yellow, but when I do, it makes me smile. I wear yellow a lot in the summer, when I'm feeling cheerful and relaxed. Either pales yellows or yellows like this.

LOL, now I feel like I've somehow just revealed my personality in colors. ;-)

Green. Green, green, green. Mmmmmmm green. I love green. Green and dark red are good colours. I also LOVE teal and chocolate brown, particularly together. :-D

I adore irridescant blues and greens. The colours of a peacocks tail make me so happy. I love to wear those colours too, and I'm drawn to them over any other colour

I've always been a light purple or lavendar person. They're my favorite colors, hands down.

Black for clothing except that I now live in FL where black is too hot, especially in summer. Olive Green and dull earthtones are my other favorite colors for clothing.

In other things, I like greens (again) and some shades of pink: pale antique pink/tea rose or dark Victorian rose/raspberry. I was in a restaurant the other day that had lampshades in the dark pink color; it was all I could do to stop myself from trying to filch one. I NEED something in that color!

Well this is an intriguing post! :D

I like pretty much all variances of blues and greens, darker shades of purple, silver and pale pink.

BTW, I'm sending off Xmas cards, so just double-checking - you're still at the same address, right?

Sorry, but you waited too long to reply, and so I had to use my own judgement. Of course, your reply wouldn't have been much help in any case, I'm afraid, because I haven't a clue what you're talking about here. *is confused*
