Ratatouille

My sister and I went to see Ratatouille yesterday afternoon.  So cute!  I'll be going back for a second viewing, but this time I think it will be an evening show.  There were just a few too many crying babies and excited children in the audience yesterday.

If you haven't seen the film yet, pay attention to the following when food critic Anton Ego (character written for and voiced by Peter O'Toole) appears in his study:  (1) the back of his typewriter, and (2) the overhead shot of the carpet.  What do they remind you of?

Now I want to stock my kitchen with new copper pots and do some serious cooking.

Oh, btw, Paris looks gorgeous in this film, and Colette (the only female chef in the restaurant kitchen) has better hair and a better haircut than anyone I know, myself included!
