Happiness is ...

... receiving a letter from the IRS telling you that they looked over your tax return and found that you'd failed to claim your $3,300 exemption credit, so they recalculated the amount you owed and will be increasing your refund check by $800! *throws confetti*

Thanks! But now I want to go stand in a corner and beat my head against the wall because last night I was innocently reading a newspaper article talking about the popularity of Severus Snape *takes deep breath* AND IT SPOILED BOOK SIX!!!! *weeps*

THEY DID?!!! oh for crying out loud! if you can't even trust a freaking newspaper! It's so frustrating - the same thing happened to me for Da Vinci Code: I had managed to remain unspoiled (I knew the theme, of course, but not the details). And the day before I went to see it? Bam - I was listening to a French radio show and the stupid guy gave away the ending. Granted, I would still have thought it was a crap film, but at least I wouldn't have been bored through the thing! Spoilers bad. even though I kinda spoiled you a couple of years ago... oh my god, was that already that long?!

Oh, no!!!! That's terrible. You should have avoided any newspaper article on Harry Potter, especially book-related instead of the films. They were bound to talk about Book 6.

*sigh* Well, I'd been doing nothing but character posts and comments, and I thought I should take a break and do something practical, like going through the piles of newspapers sitting around on the living room floor. So I stumbled across this article and started to read.... Actually, I have to blame myself; the minute I saw the phrase "ex-professor", I should have stopped. But I went on, and was punished by learning what I assume is the biggest thing involving Snape that occurs in Book 6. I take some consolation, though, in still not knowing the meaning of the book's title....
